SYNAPSES
Lighting fixture designed for IESNYC student competition in response to the ‘Circle of Light’ theme.
This light installation intends to visualize the ongoing cycle of neuron generation and destruction in our brains. Viewers are encouraged to participate by rotating the bottom disk to experience the interactive light effect. The sensory experience also creates an opportunity to stimulate new neural connections or break down old ones.
